RESOURCES

UCSC Greenhouses are a unit of the Divisions of Physical and Biological Sciences and the Division of Social Sciences although we are utilized by the UCSC campus as a whole.

UCSC Greenhouses are a resource for plant instruction and research support for the Departments of:

• Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCD)
• Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB)
• Environmental Studies (ENVS)

Students have opportunities to research topics related to plant sciences, volunteer with restoration activities or just come up to check out the rooftop greenhouses and study.

Researchers can utilize the facility for projects which are approved by the division faculty or the greenhouse manager.

Instructors can make arragements to hold classes at the instructional facility on Thimann Labs rooftop. Contact the UCSC Greenhouses Director to set up class meetings.
